I quite like this shot, the varying emotions of the crowd, the coldness you feel in the space surronding the beggar

it's Emotive, and yet at the same time cold. a Pardox of sort

At first glance, judging from the empty space around him, it seems like the beggar is actually some sort of street artist, so reading your description was very saddening and in some ways also ironic. Very nice photo.
